Porsche rear seats

Postby b1zbaz » Wed Mar 13, 2013 8:14 pm

Do you reckon Porsche rear seats could be doctored to fit a Midas I have been having a play with my mates Porsche today and found the back a bit snug but considerably comfy (driving seat was better but that's another story ) so was wondering if its feasible to do some butchering and squeeze them in

I think they would fit, I have seen a few pop up on ebay and thought the same things! The rear of a Midas is never a fun place to sit however, unless you fit the height requirements of under 4ft.

I had toyed with the idea of making a rear hatch that would fit regular height people in for a laugh, some crazy bubble bulge thing, or possibly a shooting brake style look to it - very daft.

As James says they'll be a tight fit. Supra seats is another option http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-SUPRA- ... 43b998e2b0

Here you go James :)

There is a proper rear seat molding for seating portion of both the Mk 1 & 2 and the Mk 3. I have the Mk 3 in stock, but sold the Mk 1 or 2 seat with a Mk 1 to David Angles. The back is the usual fold down arrangement.

I've got one too, they're pretty crude to say the least. The others would be better I'd have thought.

Porsche 911 seats are also fine front seats for the coupe.
