Modifying drive flanges

Has anyone ever modified drive flanges to enable fitting alloys with a different PCD? I'm assuming its a case of plugging the original stud holes a re drilling new ones to suit

He might be my new best mate then lol but need to figure out what the offset was on factory 13" alloys to make sure I buy something that will fit under the arches and clear the brake calipers
