The windscreen is Fiat 126. This was used on the Mk1, Mk2 and Mk3 Coupes and the Gold Convertible.
They are still available new, despite what some screen fitters will tell you. In the UK screen fitters make their money from fitting screens (the clue is in the job description) whilst the supply of screens has no real profit for them and comes with the risk of breakage.
The Polski Fiat 126 continued in production until the year 2000 and new FIAT badged screen are made in Poland. Apparently some 4.7m 126s were made and sold under many different brands worldwide - FIAT, SEAT, Polski FIAT, Zastava, Steyr PUCH, FSM.
Of interest to you in NZ is that it was sold as the FSM Niki in the Antipodes.
Alan Donowho had some heated windscreens made and may still have a couple, although the cost of shipping to NZ may be several times the cost of the screen.
If you need a new screen rubber then PM me.
