Midas Cortez rear window

Hi new to this forum stuff so apologies if I have missed the answer, I have looked. Anyway I have been runing a Midas Cortez reg HAT 413Y as a daily runner for about 8 years now and apart from putting a 1.8vvc in it I have had little trouble until yesterday when I wound down my window at 90 and the back window disapeard !! does anyone know what the back window is out of please ?

I can't help with your question, but welcome to the forum! I'm sure someone who knows the Cortez will be along soon.

heck that sounds drastic.

I wouldnt be surprised if its a factory part.

Hi Munro,

The rear window is from a Fiat 126 Bis - the Bis is the later model which has a larger rear window than the early cars.

I suggest that you try to source one locally as transporting glass is always a problem, but if you are really stuck I can try a couple of specialist sources.
