Photobucket Midas photo site

Postby Hans Efde » Tue Dec 27, 2011 5:42 pm

I am uploading almost all pics I have about Midas to Photobucket. Also the coming year I intend to scan all old hard copy pics and many old b/w pics I received from Colin. This then will become the biggest Midas photo site for info or just fun.

At the moment I can only see one Midas photo and one bike photo, is that correct?

Like the idea, I presume you'd want others to contribute too?

Scroll down and look on the right-hand side, there are loads of sub-albums with all the other pictures.

I hadn't thought about that but it think it's an excellent idea. I'll see how I can make it a group site, so anyone from the forum could upload pics. That could keep it moving and prevents loss of pics when the forum crashes.

I've completed uploading all pics I own and received from other people. Among these are pics from Gaydon Midas 10th anniversary (epic!) and 26 year old pics from Colin Spencer, so that's pretty old stuff! Enjoy!
I haven't been able to find something yet to make it a group album. I'll see if and how that could be possible.Else we have to start a forum group site where we can upload all pics. TBC.

I've just seen a photo of my old Bronze outside the Corby factory! Must be one of Colin Spencer's photos, I reckon. Thanks, Hans!

I've never seen those pics of the Gordon Murray car before. Was it actually a runner?

I have understood that his son drives it. In real life it seems to be metallic red according to a witness wo had seen the car at the MacLaren factory.

These are awesome pics!! There are pics not only of both of mine when they used to be shiny but there's also one of my old v6 Chavlibra in the background. Also there's one with me and Adrian looking scarily young!!!

Lots from Sandown Park that was a great show at one time, you had a great selection of cars and if you were lucky you saw Concorde fly by. Also the time Mr and I discovered that the hammering hangover gained through a fairly constant supply of bottled beer could be cured by a bacon butty and the Caterham auto test course at 9am.

Happy days.

I've got a load so I scan them when I get some time.

Cheers,

Mike
