OK, you're right, and given that snow, those narrow tyres might have been better for grip too. The amount of offset does make a big difference to the looks of a Midas, though!

MrBounce, Do I need to mention I have a pair of Renault 14 mirrors (attached some white doors) haha.
I've got bullet mirrors on mine, but the chrome rusts within 12-18months, sure I could polish it back, but I think I may change for something that won't!

Those mirrors are flat. Got them on my convertible but to be honest they're crap, hardly any adjustment in them
