Richard Streets has fitted StreetKA seats to his Gold Convertible.
I'm not aware of anyone having done a Targa roof conversion on the hardtop, but I can't see the advantage for the added complication. A few owners have made wind deflectors, screens that fit behind the seats and attach to the roll hoop, to reduce the wind blowing around the cockpit.

I only have a hardtop, [no convertible frame or roof] If I convert the roof, it would mean fresh air, with weather protection if it turns nasty, which isn't an option with just a hardtop

I found that a tonneau cover covering the space behind the front seats cuts down on turbulence considerably. I have used on on both Gold and Excelsior convertibles.
Weather permitting, I will be coming down to the open day with the Excelsior wearing hers.
The seats are Honda CRX which are comfortable on long journeys.
