In the endeavour of getting my gold convertible rolling again I was looking at basic wheels. Seems these might do the trick.

Looks good, if I'm remembering correctly the Revolution RFX's had a C-dimension of 115mm and the stock Metro 5.5J wheels something like 130mm.

Thanks Stuart. I will double check with the spare revo rfx I have, I bought that one from an imp owner. I think the PCD is same as on an imp but backspace is slightly different.

I have the spare RFX in the garage that never had a tyre on. The C section is coming in at 108mm (could be 107.8mm) . And the car passed MOTs and never rubbed so all good.

The beauty of having a forum to search on :).

Indeed, far better than Facebook that seems to have killed off ever so many forums.

I got my wheels when you could still pick up Metros for scrap money, the ones on it right now are from a MG Turbo and I have a set of the original kit wheels in the lock up for refurbishment at some point.

Seems things have started to get a bit rarer. On the hunt for a couple of rear subframes amongst other things. I have some wheels to refurb but to be honest its nearly as cheap to buy new wheels if I got minilight replicas, which I've always liked aside the revo RFX's. My experience with the split rims is they look nice, but buckle way too easy.

I've just had a set of 5 refurbished for the Libra. came to just under £100 each. They have done a fantastic job, but, were they available, I could have had a set of Team Dynamics for around the same.
