Some more pictures of my RC40 centre exit system.
This shows that the ground clearance is OK, and should still be more than adequate when I get the rear ride height down to where it should be.
The centre box is round in cross-section so there are no clearance problems in the tunnel.
Clearance around the gear remote mech is fine.
The back of the front silencer is 4" in front of the back edge of the flat floor/front edge of the suspension cross beam. The rear silencer is completely standard, but I cut about half an inch off the end of the front silence outlet pipe so it would push as close together as possible.
I had to knock up under and over saddle clamps for the crossbeam hanger.
A bit of dexion was cut down to provide somewhere to hang the rear mount. Probably overkill, but I put eight self-tappers in to make sure the rear box wasn't going to fall off. The RC40 fitting kit came with shorter metalastic bushes, it needed the longer 1" ones to get enough clearance below the petrol tank while keeping the dexion bracket out of sight. I was able to fit the bracket with the fuel tank in place.
This is what's left over from the RC40 front section.
