XWC 296 S - update

[/size][/img][/size]Hopefully photo of revised suspension set up - front and rear lowered and now looking much better.
Rears - new Spax gas coil over shocks G999 and 10.5" 2.25" dia 110lb Faulkners coil springs
Front - nearly new Spax gas adjustable shock absorbers and Hi-Los
Next step is Maniflow bespoke Midas exhaust system which is ready for collection tomorrow
It's all go!

Nice looking example You should be pretty pleased with that purchase. I would be

I do actually like the higher rear end though I do agree that with the small wheels they do look dwarfed when the rear of the car is at the height many Midas Mk1/2s were at as standard.

I've played around a bit with the rear bracketry on mine and still not got it right yet. The front is also needing attention on mine as that's lower than it should be too. I've been busy with other things lately but hope to be back onto my Mk2 soon.

Hurrah.
V5 finally arrived this morning and XWC now Taxed, insured and MOT'd and ready to roll.
Looking forward to getting out when it stops raining, so guess I should have first drive about May 2015 :lol: :roll:
Need to get Maniflow exhaust system sorted and having front and rear panels resprayed, but neither of these will stop me from "having a go".
Anyone know if rear glass hatch hinges still available?
