Q466 CPF Hopping to get back on the road for 2018

Postby fozzza » Wed Dec 14, 2016 2:44 am

I'm the new owner of a MK3 Gold Coupe Q466 CPF. Its the wife's fault really ;) , because when I got my MK2 back on the road she made the fatal mistake of asking me if I was going to do another one, initially I revoked this but temptation got the better of me and I have always liked the MK3.

Firstly I contacted Alistair to see if he new to any project cars for sale, and as luck would have it he had one at the factory. So I popped over, took one look and the deal was done, I even love the colour and with a bit of work on the Gel coat it may get its true colour back.

So here it is

It will need a complete strip down mechanically and parts of the interior but because my MK2 is now back on the road
( still more improvements to be done though ) I'm not without a Midas to enjoy and attend some meets in 2017, so there isn't so much pressure on this new project.

My Mk2 will always be my pride and joy but there was just enough room for one more Midas.

Superb. I'm sure it will be very good when you've finished it given how good you've made the mk2. I shall look forward with great interest to your updates.

Now I've managed to go back in time and make it shine like it used to :)
