Hi,

That used to be Peter Hills Midas ex chairman of the club, we have some good memories of Peter developing it as a sprint car this is it in 2000 having just done very well.

told ya brake failure and now the clutch has gone :cry:

snapped brake nipple trying to change the fluid to dot 5 to stop the rear brakes locking up

and the clutch won't come off to put the new one on

curse my luck!!

Have you used the old trick of clouting the end of the flywheel puller with a big hammer when you've put as much tension on it as possible? Always used to result in a loud bang and the flywheel making a break for the offside arch.

over three hundred pounds on the torque left over night after braking 2 pullers still no joy
think its engine out and then hit it with one of these bikers wrecking the neighbourhood

heat is your friend here.....in a circular motion until it starts to glow. works for me even when well lapped on.

I'll have to get some thing to do it other half kicked off the last time I used her stuff wasn't happy with putting parts in the dish washer either and its her car
the irony !
any way got underneath & cleaned it to stop whats left of my hair getting matted

is there supposed to be an under engine guard as there are riv nuts in the front valence and holes near the foot well ?

Looks like you are missing the engine undertray, both the front and back are missing off mine.

Out of interest, does anyone have a pic of the trays off the car?
