R1 into a mini

An interesting perspective of an R1 fitted into a mini.

I think it speaks for itself. Perfect for a Midas...

Nice one David

It's chain drive,so not Promotive.

Any more information and the all important question for the new IVA test. Does it have a reverse?

Hi Alan,

Yes I think it's the Pro-motive one....

Still very very nice though!!! And its real! The other one is still a pipe dream until I see it.

I am not sure what the situation is with reverse. The Z car one did it with a flywheel and starter motor. I think it could be done on the
Promotive one too if a flywheel was attached to the front sprocket.

Does the new test require a reverse. Does an existing Midas need to go through the test?? :) I would think it wouldnt.

Yes David,

You are correct. I'm getting it mixed up with the other one, where he designed and fitted a transfer box!

Bit expensive,this kit!

yes it is a bit. maybe the credit crunch might make these a bit more realistically affordable!
