Well John,
It looks very nice, comfortable and infinitely more sensible than a Midas But by coincidence, I've just bought an MGF rear subframe and I am bidding on another rear subframe with engine etc., as part of the on going quest for a different engine in a Midas. So now I can come along and see where all the bits go!

I often think that the MGF was borne out of the idea of the Midas Convertible.

Theres so many clues to it all over, even down to running gear, albeit engine in the rear....and obviously the move over to the K series, which was allegedly going to happen to the Midas back in the day.

Thanks John, I already have one. I'm now looking for a K-series Metro!

An uncle of mine was involved in the development of the MGF. He had amusing tales to tell of the fun that he, and others, had while putting proving miles on an apparently standard Metro van, which obviously had a mid-mounted K-Series.
