Hi all will 13" wheels fit on my mk 2,its running metro hubs

The short answer is yes. Your car is a narrow front arch version though, so the wheels will stick out, more so if those Metro brakes are vented ones. Clearance with the rear springs can also be an issue.

Yes we all end up bumping into each other in various places on the web
I prefer a mk2 on 12" wheels, and now you can get 165 profile tyres I don't really see the point of going to 13" wheels. Having said that Yokohama could just suddenly stop making any more 165/60x12 tyres.

I think the Mk2 looks best on 12" Minilites though I don't actually have any. I can also confirm it's a bugger finding 13" wheels that fit with clearance at the rear with the springs

I plan on using 13 inch revolution rfx wheels with 165/65/13 tyres on my decathlon as there are no clearance issues running this setup although to gain a little extra clearance you could add thin spacers to the rears
