This Mk2 is up for grabs for little money behind a garage in Openshaw Manchester. We were told about it at the Classic Car show. I've been and had a look. On the face of it it looks pretty grim but I think perhaps a lot of that impression is down to the greenery and brambles.
The plus side. All glass is present, there is no percievable body damage. The bonnet is shut but aparently contains an A+ engine (Metro) which ran when the car was parked up. (I think the space may also contain brambles)
All alloys look good the interior dash etc seems covered in growth of various sorts but apart from that is undamaged. The drivers door is shut, the passenger door is open and the hinges seized.
The car does not belong to the garage but they know the owner (who is now too ill to drive or work on the car).
Dragged out and jet washed the car would look totally different.
Enquiries via me please as the garage owner does not want the hassle of people phoning up about it unless you are about to turn up with a trailer to view and remove. (I'm not earning from this)

Suggest the car when restored becomes known as 'the black bramble'. Don't show pictures to wife/girlfiend,
Garage man talked about £400 to £500 but as it's not really his a handfull of readies may be a valuable bargaining tool.
Contact via messages on here please.
