I am already sometime busy to start a project of a conversion MKII with a tuned suzuki 1300 gti +- 130 hp , but now it started !!!!!!
I found some guys who already did the conversion mini classic /suzuki and they have already a lot of experience , so I will benefit of their experience and that will save me a lot of time to finish the project .
As I am a person who want to do it correct , I hope I can finish that project and have a nice fast and a technical good Midas :)
For the moment I am busy with the front and rear spoiler and the doors .
The spoilers have a lot of cracking in the polyester and the mechanism of the doors shows a lot of rust ,also the hinges must be repaired .
So this are the things to solve in the first coming weeks .
In +-4 weeks I'll start to modify the subframe , I will use the mini classic subframe and adapt the frame for the G13B engine .
I hope to finish the project before next summer 2019 :?:
I keep you informed of the progress :)
All info is very welcome !!!

Mechanism of the doors are rusty , the big parts which can be separated easily and will be sandblasted and metallized.
Other parts will be treated with liquid which will resolve the rust and painted with anti rust paint .

The frontspoiler had some crackings , I milled them out just to the polyester laminate and filled them up with coloured topcoat + hardener , just a little above the spoiler surface .
After one day I sanded this places with 200/400/ 800 grains with good result .
As cracks are coming from an impact or from places where the polyester laminate isn't strong enough ( the laminate can move , but not the gelcoat ) I have laminated the inside of the spoiler with a polyester linen tissue ,this will make the spoiler more stiffer and help to avoid the cracks ( I hope ).
Finally I will put a 2 component -filler -primer to cover all the little holes .
