What an offer!-i just could not put a price on it,how much blood sweat and tears has a man got?If you are serious, just find yourself an old Metro [could be hard to find] and gut everything that you need-then just start from there! Reading Johns previous comment, yes the wheels are closer forward to the arches,I had to grind the edges back to stop the wheels catching on lock, but it wasnt much.I think a very important point is when you fit coil suspension, anchor the top on the subframe and not the body-by making outrigger eyes-as the fibre glass is not strong enough.I cut holes in the upper wing and closed them up again with a square 'top hat' of ally to accomodate the top of the shocks.Having seen Davids short spring conversion, this may work better and be less invasive than my option of using GAZ shocks on top of the wishbone with a shackle.I wish I had listened more to my friend Ian when trying to choose spring ratings.Just look at the plate under the bonnet-it gives front and rear axle weights.Add yourself and a passenger-then half it for each spring![rear could be less] Engine weight should not be very different. I hope I have given you some food for thought, remeber if in doubt-just do it anyway! Stan.

That was a real bargain I would have had that if I did not have mine and could afford it
