This kit car was built in 1981 and first registered in 1983 due to it being a works demonstrator car, it used to be white as show on the cover of the cars and cars conversions magazine (July 1984), the car has been professionally gel coated red. It has been dry stored and has had the grease points regularly maintained. It has a 1ltre engine on a 1275 gearbox and is using a 1275 carb, with an electric fuel pump. I have added a fuel pump switch to turn it on or off to stop it being stolen.

The car has had many new items added to it:

· Refurbished engine

· New Clutch

· Flywheel re-skimmed

· Pressure plate horns matched to flywheel

· New slave cylinder

· Bump stop rubbers replaced

· Oil filter

· K and N air filter (worth £80)

· Upper and lower front ball joints replaced

· Break hoses

· Rear break slave cylinders

· Fuel pipe and fuel tank filer pipe replaced

· Glass fuel filter

· Distributor cap and rotor arm and points

· Upgraded sound system

· New thermostat housing and stat

· New oil pressure sensor.

What’s outstanding to do:

· Flasher relay fitting (got parts)

· Boot lock fitting (got parts)

· Will need 1000cc carb main jet needle fitting

· Drivers door window runner requires alignment

· Gear stick requires one part.

This has been a labour of love with many hours spent on it and I’m sad to see it go but redundancy forces sale. Also this item has been relisted as a previous buyer dropped out of the sale so no time wasters please! Many thanks for looking and please don’t hesitate to contact me for information.

the person who won the bid didn't reply after winning it, and after two week just emailed me saying he doesn't want it any more. was quite annoying

Sorry to hear that, that's extremely annoying. Good luck this time round.
