GOLD CONVERTABLE FOR SALE
Posted: Sat Jul 25, 2009 8:09 pmDue to me not finding the time to use my Gold Convertable, I've decided to sell it.
After receiving the kit from Midas Cars in August 2002, the Car passed the SVA in July 2005 and was first regestered in August. The Donor car was a 1987 Vanden Plas Metro and every part that was used was overhauled prior to fitting.
Including a full engine / gearbox overhaul (1293). Most of the braking system was renewed, along with a new petrol tank. The seats are Richfield. It is Hydrogas front and rear. A Black soft top is with the car.
The car starts first time every time. (After the oil system has been primed after long periods of not being used).
And drives very well. The engine is still to be completely run in.
The Car has done less than 700miles since completion and has been garaged when not in use.
With the cost of the Kit At £4600 and afurther £2500 spent to complete the build. Here is a car offered at half the build price and cheaper that a new kit alone and ready to use.
Taxed and tested £3000 ono.
