I thought the "no external door lock" on left door was the default setting? My Bronze didn't have one, and I'm fairly sure that was standard for the Gold (in RHD format) as well.

Yes, it was an option (although I can't find an option list on the archive CD that specifies this all). Although I am not sure the left door mirror was an option. I thought it was standard.
