It's actually a MK 1 with a MK 2 bonnet. I've added a link to your post.

A 1979 or 1980 car with VED free, that's a bonus, perhaps being red and VED free explains the bids so far. It looks nice in red.

Yes they look good to me as well. There is nowhere a loose edge to be seen which is rare for a Midas door panel.
