The body of the convertible is not strong enough for rallying. It would need to have the roll over bar connected to the windscreen to take the strain of the floor. Also the roll over bar must be modified for proper racing. Peter Hills used his Midas Convertible for circuit racing and had one with extra bracing and modified so it would be above his head. I suppose this car was just for the show because Ferrari badges won't make it go faster.

I agree with all of your comments, taking the badges off would make it quicker. From what I can see on the photo's the body work looks good, the interiors not to everyone's taste (including mine)but I could see it appealing to the younger twenty something car fan; that can only be good for the future of the club and the cars.
