I have messaged the seller by text and found out the price he is looking for and it seems quite high for the work that is needed for it. I tried to get into contact after it didnt sell the first time and i had no reply as i was going to offer him a buy it now price.

I thought that 360 was a lot personally especially given the cost of reprinting a car which it will need

Well after speaking to the owner
- the car is only 3/4 prepped so needs finishing.
- it needs a re spray
- the front light is missing
- interior has got mould so needs a proffessional valete
- it has a lumen ignition? But he was going to convert it to points so there must be a reason why
- it needs new tyres all round
- the front windscreen has water behind the laminate
- the electric windows and central locking need looking into as well so this could be a pain in the backside
- then there is also getting the car back to someone's home which is costly also

It might be a good idea not to talk the cars down in price. A race to the bottom. No need for that.
The bare shell and other stuff is a good basis for a sound car given the right time and inclination.
Compare the price of that to a Mini Marcos in a similar state.
Cheap motoring I would say. Even with all these things to do.

I don't think you needed to apologise Alex, I always like to see what's being sold and people's views on it.
Nothing wrong with a bit of healthy discussion!

I agree...no need to apologise.. Sorry if I sounded stern... Just want the best for our cars and the right recognition they deserve.

£510 this time.
How about this car from the same era to show what a bargain a Midas is.
