http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271565593631? ... 1423.l2649Seems quite a tidy car with a long MOT.
I think it has been on ebay before as I seem to recall the owner thinking it was a 30 year old car.
Despite that and some evidence of body damage it looks reasonably well cared for.

That has now ended early, so it looks like a deal has been done off line.

Hope the new owner visits this forum. Looks like a nice car. I am curious for how much it went, Ebay was already at 1270 pounds when I last checked.

Did they use a sandwich floor on the GTM cars like this one, or just a very heavy laminate? I've been in a GTM car that had a huge amount of flex.

I have a GTM car, it has a sandwich floor and is very stiff. I can jack it up and still close and open the door without changing gaps.

From what I have seen there is quite a variation in build quality with the GTM built cars. I guess they were making the Gold convertible for ten years and there were probably several different laminators laying them up over that time.
I've also seen a couple of Pastiche built shells and both of them were well constructed and very rigid.

Could be a delaminated floor causing the outer fiberglass parts of the floor to slide. I think Alistair mentioned this in an old thread.
