Thought this maybe of some interset got round to weighing my Mk1 Midas Bronze today. Has a 1275A (not A+) engine, small Bosch battery, pretty standard car, Original dash etc
Note lots of junk in the back probably around 30-40Kg + spare steel wheel and a full fuel tank.

Interesting about the weight distro at the front though. Might move the battery over to the passengers side and get a lightened flywheel to balance a bit better,

Any thoughts?

So 768 kg, I've seen the mk2 listed as 620 kg in magazines like CCC, so a masssive difference.

You should be able to adjust the corner weights for near-perfect distribution if you have ride-height adjustment on all four corners.

Still shocked at the weight, that's mk3 weight

I checked a Bronze on Dutch plates. These cars are not known in the Dutch database so have to be weighted by the Dutch DVLA . According their system it is:
empty weight: 660 kg
drive ready weight: 760 kg.
So seems to be correct.

To compare with the data of my Convertible (also weighted):
empty weight: 730 kg
drive ready weight: 830 kg.

I'll try remember and check my Mk2 Bronze. Not on the road yet but all the bits are stuffed in the back lol.
I thought those titanium Carb manifold studs I fitted today were gonna help lol, I guess I'll need to get more titanium.

Inflating your tyres with helium could help as well.
