found these on flea bay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... TQ:GB:1123
and after watching the post by Rich was wondering if any one else has fitted these or has a contact for buying them as I have no access to a lathe

Do these seem to be expensive or is it the going rate I've no idea

I honestly don't think the price is bad, even if you made the round bushes you'd still have to buy the inner ARB bushes at £30 anyway as they are moulded.

Is this Poly bushing really worth the effort? Does it make much difference to the handling of the car? Does it make the car more twitchy? If I wanted to go for standard rubber bushings, are they available? I'm just about to renovate a front subframe, so I would be most grateful for any of your comments!!!

The attraction for me Alan was that I wouldn't have to replace the bushes again as the poly ones last much longer than the rubber ones, plus the fittings are stainless.

As long as you don't fit the nylon Metro Challenge bushes I don't think you'd find it any harsher or twitchier, just firmer and better controlled.

yes they are better Alan. I've got them in the front of my convertible. Firmer but still compliant and they last a lot longer. A neighbour of mine, a traffic cop uses them on his personal car and is very happy with them too.

I pressed my old ones out using a bench vice and two sockets, no real problems.
