Bad luck/good luck
Posted: Sat Apr 16, 2011 8:39 pmA few days ago my Midas was carpet bombed by the local bird population, and a very good job they made of it too. This morning I decided to wash it before going out, and while leaning over the bonnet I could smell petrol fumes wafting up through the vents. Inspection showed petrol dripping from the hose between the pump and the pipe from the tank. Had it not been for the little birdies I would have driven off leaking fuel at quite a rate, and nothing good would have come of it, so I hereby take back all the bad words I said about our feathered friends...
