Restore a rolling 30 year-old exemption to VED, for classic vehicles, some of our cars have a bit to go yet, doubtful many owners do though

I've signed it, but the words 'cats', 'chance' and 'hell' come to mind...

While looking for the correct place to post something else, I came across this petition. There's still time to sign it, it doesn't close until August 2012, and I reckon there must have been a few new members to join the forum since Geoff's last post on the subject.
Sadly, I suspect that Geoff's comment about cats may be the realistic way to view this, but it costs nothing to sign, so I signed anyway. If you don't ask, you don't get.

Is it worth reminding people about this. How about getting at least five other people to sign it, Your wife, your kids, your ex, your workmates, the blokes in the pub. Pester your MP bombard him with emails, go to his surgery sessions
Remember "Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little" and "a man's reach should exceed his grasp or what's a heaven for?"
Bit slow on here recently innit!
Regards Mark

You're not kidding. Either everyone is flat out getting their Midas' finished for Stoneleigh, or people have just lost interest in their Midas.

Neither apply to me...
I really wanted to go to Stoneleigh this year, but there are too many jobs to do on the Midas - trying to ready my parents' old house for sale and trying to maintain the one we live in take precedence, sadly. If the Midas was ready to go then I'd be there, but realistically, I'm now aiming for Stoneleigh 2013.
