Here are a few pics I just received from Peter. These were made during the trip to Essen near the border crossing. He said the interest in his car was amazing, countless pics were taken of it. So maybe we might see new interest in the marque.

Considering that there were thousands of very special cars and they picked his car out between Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini adn Bugatti, that has to mean something about the power of the Richard Oakes/Steve Pearce design. In the end Harold Dermott wasn't far off with his advertising phrase : "Maranello, Stuttgart and Corby". It's all about desirability.

Regarding the point made about the "tractor wheels" on the GTM (which I actually like), this reminds me of what struck me about the Midas Convertible when I first saw it in the flesh, which is that I thought that the deeper (than the Coupe) rear bodywork made the rear wheels look far too small.
I still think the same, but looking at mine with the thought of fitting bigger wheels, I noticed that the radius arms are the first thing which would touch a larger tyre; they are currently about 12mm away from the tread at its inside edge. Tyres are currently 165/60 x 13, but the nearest size I could source easily for the fronts, which had to be replaced, were 175/60 x 13. I'll be trying those on the rear too, to get them the same size, but I might have to fit spacers to get clearance.

...yes, I'm considering that.
That would be a good excuse to look for a bigger brake disc setup, too.
However, I'd quite like a larger overall wheel-and-tyre diameter as well, but that could prove an expensive and time consuming exercise. And I'd end up covered in fibreglass dust.
