I guess this works in a similar way to the later servo minis or David's KAD set-up, I still can't quite picture it though.

and is there any way of getting the forum to display all of the photo and not chop off the right side, as has been mentioned before?

lol yes, just pull out and maximise your browser so it shows it properly.
works for me.
I can see how that works. The mechanism pushes upwards, like a metro but which the pivots sideways rather than forwards like on my conversion. Pivot will be in the shape of an L with the pivot axis in the corner.

Hi David, yes I pictured it after posting.
So how do you maximise your browser?

if its a windows pc its the middle square icon in top right hand corner (internet explorer, safari, opera and firefox), assuming its a standard skinned windows environment. if its on a mac osx its the green + button top left hand corner of browser (safari, opera or firefox)
Cheers,
David

Thanks David, going down to 75% gives me the full photo. I'm only on a 10" screen these days though.

It's a Samsung NC10, just the job for me

yes they're not bad the NC10. A mate of mine at work has one with a 3g dongle. Swears by it.
Very portable and handy for doing in car tuning on the megajolt/squirt systems

Nissan 16v looks a nice fit there. Even the inboard wings are still on!

Yes it looks very neat in there. These engines love to rev, mine sounds really good even with the standard air-box and exhaust.
I'm getting around 45 to 47 mpg at the moment from the Micra, but I drive very slowly these days due to never feeling 100%. I imagine in a Midas the MPG would still be 40+ driven hard, in fact just the same as an MG Metro engine, but it would have to be much more fun and faster.
Only bigchief seems to have done the conversion, there are few on the go over here, but very few details of how they're getting on. A guy on the Micra forum has just bought a 1350cc version engine for £50! now that's a lot of engine for so little money.
