ahhh yes you are right.
Sorry I was confused about that. Mine is black and wedged shaped. Great tool and doesnt damage the side covers like screwdrivers can. Been there done that.
Never seen a tool to disengage the splines off the CV except a BFH (big F**k Off Hammer) and a vice. But only in exceptional circumstances where CV has rusted on splines. Good reason to strip down the shaft every now and again!
