Needed to overcome clutch throw/disengagement problem and didn't want to "cut and shut"pedal.
Found a smaller bore (Girling) slave cylinder which will give me the increased throw necessary to give full clutch disengagement - but which has imperial threads - with the master cylinder having metric.
One solution : to make up a special hose having the two different fittings
Looked at some websites : Goodridge hose fittings lovely but very expensive
Lots of Googling took me to Nelson Stokes (who I believe may have made the original production Metro clutch hoses (it's branded "Nelson") . A late night online enquiry about making up a special hose resulted in a phone call to me first thing next day (yes!) - advising "yes, can do", with a price just advised for the complete hose (fully made up as a one-off special) less than a single Goodridge fitting.
Gobsmackingly efficient, fast, helpful and amazing price ! If you need anything similar (even standard hoses) - do check with them. Great service !
