Thanks

Re: Hill Climbing
Hi
Anyone thought about a group buy of a rollcage for a Midas, either rear cage or full?
I am thinking of buying and building a Mk3 to hillclimb and sprint in Scottish road car classes.
Here's a link to picture of a hillclimb Midas that used to compete in Scotland in the 1990s (note the cage ...

Car & Classic bargain
Hi
Not sure how I missed this one recently: http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C192665/
It looks like it was being sold by the same person who had a great Rochdale Olympic for sale last year.
Anyone buy the Midas?
Cheers
Mike

Re: MIDAS MkII - Competition Build
Brian - how's the project and a quest for a rollcage going?
Might be worth swapping stories with other grp monocoque racers/rallyists on rollcage mounting - e.g. in Clan Crusaders. Not sure if anyone has put a full cage in a Rochdale Olympic or a Lotus Elite (but I guess if you've got the latter ...

Re: MIDAS MK2 1989 - PARTS INFO
Hi all,
I've just bought a 1989 Decathlon in need of some serious restoration! I would appreciate some advice on some of the parts, i.e. what "donor" car do they come from?
1. Door seals
2. Front windscreen and seal.
3. Rear hatch glass seal.
4. Headlights- I understand these were Allegro or ...

Re: white Bronze mk2
Hi
Did anyone on the forum buy this? Looked a good car.
Didn't manage to get to look at it as although it was only 30 miles away (great, a car for sale in Scotland for once) but unfortunately I had to be in London at the time (doh!).
Cheers

Re: Bronze
Congratulations!
I notice from the advert that the car needed a new rear crossmember - can you still get these?
Best wishes

Re: Windscreen seal
If it is a Reliant Robin/Rialto screen, then try Reliant parts suppliers:
http://www.reliantpartsworld.co.uk
or
http://www.grahamwalker.co.uk
Failing that Edgware Motor Accessories supply screen rubbers - http://www.rubbertrim.co.uk - but you'll need to know what the profile is.
I thought the screen was from a Fiat 126, or am I mixing up my cars?
Best wishes

A606 BCN - alive or dead?
I remember there was a maroon Mk2 in Scottish speed events in the mid-late 1990s (A606 BCN). Any idea if it still survives and if so, in what form?
It had a rear cage, and later on had part of the front bodywork removable, and a matching maroon Maestro van tow vehicle (hmmm nice!) Driver I think ...
