Thank you mrbounce, between us we should be world specialists with moss killer,after 2hrs with tfr and a jet wash every variety of moss known to man was removed then an extra 3hrs cleaning inside and under the bonnet has revealed a fantastic little car. Thank you for the info. Unknowing to me until I joined the foram, it turns out it was built by the late Mike Smart who was a family friend, Shirley is still a good friend to the family.

Thank you for such a quick and warm response.
It is complete apart from carpets, i think the rear sub frame may be past its best. The exhaust is shot and the engine needs a complete strip, I am unable to open the doors so I had to climb in through the boot just to open the bonnet and found Its a ...

Hi, I have today purchased my first Midas where I think I may need a little help.
I believe it to be a mark 1 with chassis number D010001, it has been stood for approx 9 years so is covered in moss etc:
