Hello David.
Alistair Courtney is your best best for a rear subframe, he does supply them galvanised and Alan Donowho for your radius arms.
Regards Roy.

Re: Gold Assaulted!
Looks very smart Dave, and also complements your headlights. I also like your grill, so much better than the original one. Where did you get that made, I wouldn't mind one on my Mk3.

Re: Mk 1 Project Zippy. Looking Like a Car.
Hi Dave, don't give up now, you have put a hell of a lot of work into your project.
I do understand where you are coming from though. On paper these are simple basic cars to work on, but in practice quite the opposite, especially trying to fit modified or self made parts. It is the nature of the ...

Re: E10 petrol
Thanks for the link,
The plan seems to be to 10% ethanol for standard petrol, but the current 5% will still be available, I will just have to wait to see the final outcome.
The government have promised that 5% fuel will be available until 2025 but they have changed their policies a few times, like ...

Re: Practical Classics Show, Now cancelled for 2020
The organisers have now cancelled 2020's show and are talking about the date for next year's show.
They are the same company who run the Classic Motor Show in November and that appears to be going ahead as scheduled (so far anyway).
It makes sense. I will also be surprised if your factory open ...

Re: Front heated windscreen fitting
Hi Dawesy.
I have got to fit a heated front screen to my Mk3 that I'm also restoring. To answer your questions, yes you do have to seal the edges of the screen. I will be fitting mine in the warmer weather when the seal will be a bit more flexible using the cord method. The join is half way down one ...

Re: Pictorial history of Q705CPF
I'm sorry to hear that Dave. I have no doubt that you will have no problem selling your Mk3 Coupe. It is one of the best examples out there. If I hadn't got my Mk3 project I would have definitely asked you for first refusal.
Take care.
