yep, no two ways now; got to do the foul deed. would like to add pix but complete operator ineptitude gets in the way of that. How do we add Pix to a post?
Meanwhile the car is as described variously in preceding posts; a basket-case 1400 Avonbar gold/mk3 coupe with excellent opportunity for garage ...

Re: Q151OCR
Dear all
well, I still didn't touch it. It still dozes damply under a blanket and I'm plainly not going to get to it any time soon.
I'll make another post to describe it more clearly but as of now I'm looking to dispose of it and end the embarrassment.
B*gger.

Re: alloys for gold coupe
OK, clear; thanks.
I thought about 14s as a way to get a more convincing stance and also bigger brakes. Tyres look like an issue, though, to keep same steering geometry. What are you going for? 185/45R14 looks good, as do 175/50R14, 175/45R15, 185/40R15, and so on. What about brakes? Don't want ...

Re: MK3 Gold swop for my MX5?
HI,
I have a basket case Mk3 and no time in the last two years, aparrently, to devote to it. Not much sign of that gettin less awkward this year either.
Did you find what you wanted? If not, is a complete restoration job what might catch your interest..?

Re: alloys for gold coupe
hi
finally back alive again. Sorry to have been invisible!
If you're still interested in these wheels I can deliver to manchester - that's where you are, isn't it? - next week, probably Monday or Tuesday evening.
Can that work?
regards

Re: alloys for gold coupe
Pix!
Size of my minilitealikeish wheel is 5.5x13, same as turbo. As you see, some refurb is needed in any case. You have turbo already so no need to show pix of mine.

Re: Exhaust
dear all
sorry for absence and silence; enforced.
As to exhaust it's unused and, so to say, stress-relaxed. It likely won't drop right into a mk111; more like a Mk1/11 opportunity.
they are only about £50 new from minispares etc. £30 for my homeless one?

Q151OCR
Q151OCR is dozing quietly under a blanket; I plan resuscitation, and I think there's a complete car in total but certainly not at present all in one piece. Alleged to have Avonbar 1380, electric this-and-that; basket case in truth, needing several zillion hours.
Not dead, though not in any sort of ...

Exhaust
Dear all
I have an unused RC40 MiniSpares exhaust, cranked for side exit and with underfloor plain pipe. It's been stress-relaxing in the garage for at least two years; I have no use for it but by now (!) couldn't return it.
anybody interested?
