Dave, how did you get the two halves of the mirrors apart? I looked at that big spring and couldn't figure out how to release it, and then get it back together...

To add to the confusion, my garage have just got some BBJ5150, which appear above as pre -84 and so should have the small taper, but they are 14+mm at the small end, i.e. the later large type...

I also have Motaquip VSJ473 for the later larger type

I'm trying to find if Austin and Rover Metro track ends are the same (and Mini) but it's surprisingly difficult...Someone here will know....
