Historic
Today, being the 1st April I hot-footed it down to my local Post Office where they deal with Road Fund Licensing.
We first registered our Midas Silver on 1st August 1981 and so today it met the criteria for the Historic Vehicle Class.

This I did and it has now appeared in the just ...

Re: TNF 642X - Still with us after 40 years
On 1st August 2021, our MkII will be 40 years since first registration. DVLA site shows that it can be exempt from road tax but cannot be changed to Historic Vehicle Class until 1st April next year.

I was able to visit the show and the Midas stand on the Friday.
Congratulations to all involved in setting up and manning the stand - excellent job.

Re: 40th Aniversary get together at Greenfield factory site
We would also like to express our thanks to John Orson for arranging this great get-together.
It was a real pleasure to see the range of models and to talk with their owners and to those who are still working on theirs. I am sure that they went away inspired by the show of completed cars.

I too have a pair of Huntmaster seats in black with headrests and subframes from my MkII. Black vinyl with black velour. Free to a good home. Currently in Suffolk.
