Historic

Today, being the 1st April I hot-footed it down to my local Post Office where they deal with Road Fund Licensing.

Practical Classics Magazine

Re: TNF 642X - Still with us after 40 years

On 1st August 2021, our MkII will be 40 years since first registration. DVLA site shows that it can be exempt from road tax but cannot be changed to Historic Vehicle Class until 1st April next year.

Re: The Classic Motor Show 8-10 November 2019

I was able to visit the show and the Midas stand on the Friday.

Congratulations to all involved in setting up and manning the stand - excellent job.

Re: 40th Aniversary get together at Greenfield factory site

We would also like to express our thanks to John Orson for arranging this great get-together.

It was a real pleasure to see the range of models and to talk with their owners and to those who are still working on theirs. I am sure that they went away inspired by the show of completed cars.

And ...

GAZ coilovers

Since fitting replacement rear coilovers on my MKII a few years ago, I have endured ringing/clanging noises from the coil springs themselves - presumably when they touch the body of the shock absorber as they compress and rebound.

Whilst searching the web recently, I came across others who have ...
