Interesting. The car was advertised as a Mark 1. It is chassis number 42. I just believed it without question. Does anyone know what chassis number the Mark 1 went up to? I do know this car is as it was originally built in 1980 and registered in 1981. If anyone has anymore info that would be great ...

Hi all. Have some questions on Mark 1 running gear as only have the bronze build manual as a guide. I have stripped the front disc brakes/ hubs and drive shafts and my findings are a little concerning. I have already determined that the engine/gearbox was an early remote unit and the drive shafts ...

That does make sense as the gear lever has been cranked over and shortened. Will have to do a bit more research as I dont want to cut the tub any more than it already has been. Might be worth spending the time to find a remote box? Will keep you posted in midas cyber space!
