I'm currently running Mk2 Turbo cross spokes on mine and they look fine, cost me £40 with tyres on ebay. The wheels the car came with aren't standard Metro rims but the offset is right. They are 6 spoke jobs with no makers name.

Hi
still looking for rims? I have a set of minilitealike and a set of turbo; don't need both, but neither set is anything other than doggy. Functional, but doggy. Both sets have tyres that do no more than occupy space; no chance to be used. I could provide pix. size is nominal; tyres are 165s so rim width is common for both sets - 6*13, I think.

Size of my minilitealikeish wheel is 5.5x13, same as turbo. As you see, some refurb is needed in any case. You have turbo already so no need to show pix of mine.

hi
finally back alive again. Sorry to have been invisible!
If you're still interested in these wheels I can deliver to manchester - that's where you are, isn't it? - next week, probably Monday or Tuesday evening.
Can that work?

OK, clear; thanks.
I thought about 14s as a way to get a more convincing stance and also bigger brakes. Tyres look like an issue, though, to keep same steering geometry. What are you going for? 185/45R14 looks good, as do 175/50R14, 175/45R15, 185/40R15, and so on. What about brakes? Don't want girly little brakes peering out of huge dia rim, I suppose..?
Sounds like another bucket of work!
