15KG! You will need to shed more than that. them Rover 220 seats I had weighed a ton....and I bet they are not far behind with all their elastic trickery and airbags.

They're supposed to weigh just 14.7 kg each, not Tillett light but reasonable, just a shame they're so dear.

14kg? I bet they aren't. Theres a steel base in there. Bound to be more.....and the air bag stuff must weigh a bit too.

Almost won a set of Smart ForTwo seats this weekend, missed out on a bargain but I really ought to sort the sunroof leak first!
They have two styles;

and:

I haven't looked at any measurements but assumed they would be slim enough, flat enough on the base and mountings to accept the high back and they fold completely flat too.. (how this is useful I have no idea!)

They certainly look smart, pair went locally for £32 but it was either a dark pattern blue, or a bright gray. I would rather like some of the above cloth or leather variants!

Smart seats are massive James, the roadster ones are the better shape for a Midas, but I still think the top of the seat could end up wedged on the headlining in a MK 2.

They look as big as MX5 seats in the photos to me, I should've bought the cheap ones to test fit. I agree they are certainly taller than most chairs but a bit of back support would be good!

I asked the seller of these seats how tall they are from floor to head rest top, and his reply was 93 cm, I've not checked my car, but that's taller than any seats I have.

I'll break out the tape measure when I get home. 1m could be tight but also sounds too small to physically fit me in haha
