Don't know if this might help, but I've just found the following website:

Click on different manufacturers and they show the PCD, offset and bore diameter for each model.

The easiest way of checking...is to ask someone who has the wheels you want, or the same dimensions / offset and test them.

I have 12x6 on my mk2, they stick out an inch or so from the arch but clear on full lock, I think 7" wide will stick out too much, and may catch on full lock.

I will test this theory at some point, cause if they do fit, I'd love to see the stance and could cure the arch issue with a small flat piece of plastic attached to the underside of the arch.

Get a set of force splits, with a specific offset for the mk3 body

I run Metro Advantage / GTa / end of run MG turbo wheels on my Mk3 which a great for handling but have several drawbacks

- The 185x55 x13 tyres are getting more difficult to get hold of and the range of brands available are dwindling now Dunlop and Pirelli have stopped making them.

- In bizarre move by Rover models fitted with these wheels have different rear hubs. The nose of the centre is shorter and the hub nut cover is fits inside the the raised section rather the normal top hat version. They fit fine but you can't fit the rear wheel centre caps.

- They also use a different steering rack and front ball joints...I havent a clue what the difference is, they are visually and dimensionally identical extrernally but they have their own part numbers!!

- The body clearance on full lock is snug at best end one side does clip at times on lock but that might be because my front frame may have had a little percussive restyling while attached to the donor Metro despite measuring up as square.

How about some 10" wide rims, Alan has these 195 tyres on his Midas.

They are great, they don't catch on the inner arch as the 175 or 185's did. I cannot remember what size they where, but they were Falken tyres. These Continentals are a far better quality tyre!
