i have rebuilt my doors using ford fiesta rear window winders they are alot smoother and easy as pie to fit plus parts are easy to source

Ok, the runners are in the post. I missed yesterday, but I asked my beloved to post them today. Frankly, if there is a better system that fits easily I'd go for it, because as Moneypit has pointed out, the Midas system isn't great. Either way, now you can experiment (and I will cast a critical eye over a Fiesta next time I'm in the breakers as Land rovers are not so common.

I know what you mean about the system being less than brilliant, ultimately I'd like to fit electric windows.

Rimmer Bros have shiny new genuine Metro window runners for less than a tenner in the clearance section :)

Barry, what age of Fiesta did you get your winder mechanism from? I've lost count of what "mark" the Fiesta is on now...

It was a g plate I think any will do though I just aluminium brackets up for them and kept adjusting them for the dip on the door card
