Re: how do you remove a driveshaft?

This afternoon I got the driveshafts out. It is not possible by removing the balls of the inner CV. The cage is still too big.

So out came the persuasion tools.

With just 2 bangs the outer CV snapped loose and I could remove the drive shaft.
Then on the other side also 2 bangs and also the outer CV came loose. Cut the boot loose, disconnect the hub and result:

So coming Friday I hope to get the subframe out and start cleaning the engine bay.
