You're right, you have to get her up and running.
I'll keep watching this thread...

Well the glass is out which means its time for paint prep time
Need to decide on engine choice, I've got a spare Nissan engine so I might give that a go.

That's the first time I've seen tyres like that on a Midas! Winter tyres (or M+S, which is what they look like to me) seem to be difficult to find for the 13" wheels on my car.
Seeing those in (presumably) 12" size gives me a bit of hope though. What make are they?

A 155/65 x 13 would work well in the snow if you have some spare 13" wheels, of course there are lots of other sizes too.
155's

The wheels/tyres came off the guys rally mini. They where put on just to move it. They are way to big and touch the arches.
The original cosmic 5x12 will be going back on wraped in some 165/60/12 yokos

Thanks Stuart, I despair of my internet search skills.
I agree, I'd happily use a narrower tyre in snow.

OK, not so good then. Are the wheels 12" or 13"?

Well the rear beam etc is out and its as good as the day it was made
The rear suspension is off, there's no identification numbers etc so I have no idea who made them

Any ideas?
Also I've classed over all of the holes on the bulkhead from the rear as I'll be re-routing all the wiring and hoses

Now that the whether is starting to get a bit colder I've decided to leave the body work until next spring/summer so to keep me busy I've wheeled the new engine into the garage
Initial thoughts ( took measurnents from my micra mini) is its going to be tight in the headlight area.
