Dear Geoff, I've not looked at this Suzuki turbo in great detail yet, it's a write-off and the bodyshell is very mangled.
A good friend, Geoff Owen, has a green mini with a non-turbo unit fitted: it's featured in a last year's Hybrid/16 valve mini mag. The gearbox is alongside the block. I've had a short ride in this, and am of the opinion is what the mini should have had from day one: very, very impressive on all counts.
The G15 was last fitted with an A series 1430 and 4 synchro straight cut box, after a 930 Talbot Sunbeam blew up. It's been well modified, the rear bulkhead is just behind the front seats. If and when it goes in it will probably be for trackdays.
