i think the owners club need to step in and sort this problem out by making some i have gone through hell for these brackets its the main problem stopping me hitting the road and considering my car will advertise midas cars i would have thought something would have been done by now this forum has been a godsend i am having a go with some mini bowls which i am going to take step by step photos so if it works i can put a guide on here if it does not work im going to ruin a set of halogen angel eye headlights wish me luck as im getting the grinder out tomorrow

Sorry,I have been a bit late in seeing this post,but when I had my mk3 I manged to fit VW polo mk1 [or 2? the square boxy one] round lights,but had to shave down the metal holder to suit.From memory it worked very well,you just have to keep trying the metal surround in and taking off a bit more with the grinder.The units were 7'' and kept the looks standard.Its better than not having the car on the road and they were quite cheap at the scrappy.
