I think I've got MG F callipers in stock as well, in fact I've got a complete rear subframe so I should be able to check the discs as well!. I'm waiting in for the postman at the moment, he delivering a new Hydrogas pump and I don't want to miss him. When he has been, I'm going up to the garage I'll try and gather the bits together. Brackets are no problem I'll just get them cut out on a laser. If I get about ten pairs cut they won't be too expensive.
What PCD is an MG F? thinking about discs again. I wonder if the smaller diameter Mini discs are they way to go. Will they slide over the wheel studs?

PCD of an MGF will probably be the same as a K series Metro. I havent checked, but it would make complete sense seeing as they are using the rest of the running gear off the K series Metro. The hydraulic clutch cylinders are the same as an early A series metro because thats what I am using on my cars. It wouldnt be such a big deal to turn an alloy bell housing and put whatever rotor you want on it.

Kit here on ebay.

Looks to be all R200 using redrilled discs.

You are bidding on a rear disc conversion kit to suit a Rover Metro/100. I believe this can also be used on the A-Series Metros and various Midas kit cars which are based on the Metro Rear Suspension.

The kit used the Rover 200/400 rear disc calipers/discs/pads so spare parts are readily available.

This was removed from my Rover Metro Gti when I scrapped the car, therefore is a complete and working setup and is bundled with all the spares I have too

The kit includes:

Caliper Mounting Brackets
Wheel Spacers (to retain original wheel position)
Rover 200 Rear Calipers
Redrilled discs to suit Metro PCD (done approx 1000 miles)
Braided Brake Lines (to replace original flexy section between radius arm and body)
Custom Braided Brake Lines (to replace original solid pipe along radius arm)
Handbrake Cable Brackets/spacers to allow used of original cable
New set of pads
Any rear brake spares I find - think there's at least one, if not a pair of carriers)

Any questions, Please ask!

That looks easy enough to recreate. There must be a mini disc which will do the job. I didn't get up to the garage until 3:00pm, so I didn't get time to hunt out the bits.

I went up to the garage this morning, as I thought I had some new disc rotors in stock. I did but they turned out to be 75 PCD ( I don't know what they will fit) and the Midas is a 100 PCD. I thought a good start would be to get a disk rotor on a rear hub. What PCD is a Mini? Are they the same as a Metro? I think we need the smallest diameter rotor we can get. The brackets and callipers can then be made to fit.

The PCD is the same from memory, though as the bolts are on the drive flange and don't pass through the disc would it matter? Or is the bolt PCD the same? It's been a long time since I did anything to a Mini.

In trying to find the correct brake disc, internet may be helpful. I found this site: http://www.remschijf.nl/.
Via this site pdf files can be downloaded that give dimensions of all possible brake discs (Under the button -remschijven details-). Here's a screenprint of one of the pages:

If anyone can post the required dimensions A to H of the disc we are looking for, it should be easy to find the correct one, or one that comes close and can be machined for final fit. I'll see if I can convert the pdffiles to an Excel sheet so it's easier to search.
