Are you running additional gearbox lower steadies ?
If not fit them and make sure all your other engine steady rubbers are in tip top condition
The engine will not move but does not transmit into the the car as solids do.

Here's one...

This might help too (it's on a link from the previous page)

I haven't done a full search, but I think you'd be able to find what you need on this site. There's Mini Sport too, and probably a few more, but I tend to use Mini Spares as my first port of call.

The exhaust has many scars from contact with the road, and on the few drives I've had so far knocks against the gear stick unit. Does anyone have any handy photos of the correct routing in this area that I could compare with please? To ease things a bit I've been considering raising the gear selector housing higher into the transmission tunnel. How close does the exhaust come to the GRP transmission tunnel when correctly routed as I'm concerned about heat dammage tot he chassis. Also does anyone have any recommended suppliers for sourcing parts to make an exhaust system please.
Cheers,

Just a thought Steve, you could take the car to a Powerflow dealer. They bend the pipes to fit the car as it sits above them and in my experience are happy to work with just about anything. I've used the Exeter guys a couple of times and I see there are dealers in Yeovil and Bridport too. To give you an idea of price a cat back system on my Subaru came in around £250.
